Recently, Rida and I have been commissioned to translate some of the latest articles from Rosa Luxemburg’s Gesammelte Werke into English for the first time. Rida has mainly been working on Luxemburg’s journalistic output for Vorwärts, whereas I have been looking at pieces around the mass strike and the Baden state budget controversy of 1910. We will provide a short summary of our work, offer some fascinating new findings and discuss some food for thought over 100 years since these pieces were first published.
